Services for businesses

Pre-Employment Functional Assessments

Duration: 45 minutes + reporting

Cost: $200

What’s included:

• 45 minute musculoskeletal history and screening examination
• Functional testing with measurable outcomes
• Bespoke report provided to the employer including:
  • Results of testing
  • Recommendations to improve employee health
  • A judgement of fitness/capacity to perform employment role

Why?

• Identify areas for employee improvement
• Avoid/prevent work related injuries
• Baseline testing for comparison in the case of work related injury
• Ensure employee physical capacity before employment

Workplace Ergonomics Education and Assessment Services

Package 1 – Roaming workstation assessment and educational workshop

Cost: $40 per head of staff (+ optional $100 for 30 mins educational workshop)

Best for: workplace with 10 or more staff

Minimum booking 2 hours (i.e. 10 head of staff)

What’s included:

• Educational workshop (optional) for all staff regarding optimal workstation set-up, common office/desk related injuries and musculoskeletal (MSK) complaints and how ergonomics fits into a balanced and healthy lifestyle
• Roaming work-station assessment (12 mins per employee) with on-the-go re-design to achieve optimal set-up
• Detailed data collection about overall office ergonomics
• Generalised report summarising key findings, common problems and recommendations for improvement of the workplace

• Reduce time off work due to MSK injuries
• Efficient means of identifying common problems and recommendations for improvement in the workplace

This package is best for employers looking to improve the overall knowledge, skills and workstation set-ups for their employees. If you have employees with known chronic MSK injuries or work related pain, please consider adding on package 2 for more detailed ergonomic assessment and bespoke recommendations.

Package 2 – Detailed and individualised workstation assessment

Cost: $100 per head of staff

Best for: workplace of 4-9 staff (or added on to package 1 for patients with MSK injuries)

Minimum 2 hours booking (i.e. 4 head of staff)

What’s included:

• Detailed 30 minutes assessment per employee including review of musculoskeletal injury history
• Comprehensive workstation assessment
• Bespoke recommendations and report provided for each individual employee
• Option for ongoing physiotherapy management of injuries impacted by work or workstation

Services for individuals

Physiotherapy

Cost: $140 for 45 mins (initial assessment), $110 for 30 mins (follow-up)

**Comprehensive assessment and treatment plan for work related or other musculoskeletal injuries with a registered physiotherapist with detailed understanding of ergonomics and how it impacts recovery from or development of pain and injury**

Online ergonomics assessment (home or office workstation)

Cost: $80 for 30 mins

What’s included:

• Assessment of your home or office workstation via telehealth platform
• Discussion about how this relates to any of your personal injury or musculoskeletal pain complaints
• Recommendations for improvement of your workstation

Onsite ergonomics assessment (home or office workstation)

Cost: $150 for 60 mins (includes travel to/from assessment site)
