Peter Sharp

Peter has been working as a physiotherapist for 30 years. He has been a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist from the Australian Physiotherapy Association since 2001. He graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Sydney in 1993 and completed a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in 2000. He has worked in many hospitals and private practices (Australia and overseas) and has owned St Leonards Physiotherapy since 2007. He has worked with several elite sporting teams and works with medical specialists, General Practitioners and allied health providers.

This level of experience and training has allowed Peter to have a unique understanding and expertise in dealing with complex and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. His patients have often had many attempts at rehabilitation or surgery, and are still looking for effective solutions. He has a particular interest in chronic low back pain and non-operative treatment of hip and knee conditions.

Peter lives in Manly with his psychologist wife, Ali, and two children. When not at the clinic, you can find him chasing his children around the weekend school sports routine or on patrol at Manly Lifesaving Club.

Michael Butters

Michael graduated from Sydney University with a Masters of Physiotherapy after previously completing a Masters of Occupational Health and Safety and Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Wollongong. Michael has lectured and tutored in fields of exercise physiology and anatomy for over 10 years at the University of Wollongong, University of Western Sydney and most recently with Australian Catholic University. Michael has also worked extensively as a personal trainer and an exercise physiologist in Australia and London.

Chris Andreano

Chris has been a key part of the team at St Leonards Physiotherapy since 2016. In addition to his Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney, Chris has a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) alongside a Graduate Diploma of Exercise Rehabilitation from the University of Wollongong. In addition to his extensive experience working in private practice, Chris has worked in range of hospital settings and areas, including orthopaedics, neurological and cardiothoracic rehabilitation, and outpatients.

Chris has a keen appetite for sport and exercise. A keen runner himself, Chris strives to help runners prevent, manage, and overcome their injuries and improve their performance. Furthermore, with his proficiency in exercise prescription, Chris has developed particular interest in treating and managing sporting injuries, tendinopathy and bursitis, persistent pain conditions (including lower back and neck pain), orthopaedic rehabilitation, osteoporosis, and osteoarthritis.

Chris employs an empathetic and professional approach, and applies his vast skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management in his endeavour to get the best outcome for his patients. Chris keeps up to date with the latest medical and physiotherapy research and applies evidence-based practice. He has furthered his clinical skills with regular and ongoing professional development in the areas of tendinopathy, shoulder pain and injury, persistent pain management, running injuries, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and a number of other areas.

At St Leonards Physiotherapy, alongside his colleagues Angus and Michael, Chris has been greatly involved in the development and application of the ONERO program which is highly effective in helping people manage their osteoporosis and improve their long-term health.

Outside of his work, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family. He also loves getting out on the golf course, running, surfing, snowboarding, and watching the AFL’s Sydney Swans.

Jack Jeyaston

M. PHYSIO B.APP.SC (Exercise and Sports Science)

Jack graduated from the University of Sydney with a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2019, after previously completing a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science. He has worked in a range of clinical settings, from rehabilitation gyms, hydrotherapy pools and out on the sports field.

Jack has a key interest in Sports Physiotherapy, and is currently one of the physios for the Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg side. This has given him great experience and skills in managing sport injuries. In his role he works closely with sports doctors and fellow sports physiotherapists in rehabilitating and preventing injuries.

Jack likes to use a variety of hands on treatment and exercise therapy in his treatment. He incorporates a wide variety of techniques like massage, dry needling and joint mobilisations to settle down your pain. He then strives to use exercise to build functional capacity back up and assists his clients in achieving their sporting and life goals. He prides himself on empathy, respect, good communication and rapport building, so his clients get the best out of his treatments.

Outside of work, Jack is very active himself. He enjoys running, having completed a marathon and a triathlon. He also spends time in the gym and does indoor rock climbing. He also values time with friends and family, as well as traveling – feel free to share your recommendations for his next adventure.

Holly Wright

M. PHYSIO, B.spSC (Sports Science)

Holly is a highly skilled physiotherapist with expertise in both paediatric and adult physiotherapy. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University (UK) with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2021, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science. Holly began her career in the UK’s National Health Service, where she gained experience across various settings, including orthopaedics, paediatrics, stroke/neurology, and musculoskeletal care. Her diverse background in both adult and paediatric physiotherapy has given her a well-rounded understanding of rehabilitation across all ages.

In late 2023, Holly relocated to Sydney, where she has been working in a paediatric clinic, focusing on children’s gross motor and developmental delays, as well as neurological conditions and post-operative rehabilitation.

Before moving to Australia, Holly also pursued Yoga Vinyasa Teacher Training and taught weekly classes in her local village hall, further enriching her holistic approach to physical health.

Outside of work, Holly is passionate about CrossFit, weightlifting, swimming, and yoga. She integrates mindfulness into her daily routine and enjoys spending her weekends at the beach or hiking.

Holly is available for appointments across all age groups (kids and adults) and also runs classes at the practice.

Jacques O’Hearn

Jacques is a physiotherapist with a strong foundation in exercise science and several years of experience delivering exercise-based rehabilitation in both individual and group settings. After completing his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Sydney, he went on to graduate with a Master of Physiotherapy from UTS, gaining broad clinical experience across musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and neurological settings.

Jacques takes a thoughtful and collaborative approach to treatment, focusing on clear assessment, patient education, and evidence-based exercise rehabilitation. He enjoys helping people return to the activities they love, striving to make rehabilitation meaningful, achievable, and tailored to each individual. His experience in delivering structured exercise programs has strengthened his ability to coach movement effectively, progress programs safely, and support people of all fitness levels.

In the clinic, Jacques combines hands-on therapy with targeted strength and conditioning and movement retraining. He values good communication, rapport building, and empowering patients with the tools and confidence they need to manage their health long-term.

Outside of work, Jacques enjoys spending time at the beach, playing golf, participating in social sports and strength training, and exploring the Northern Beaches with his wife.

Olivia Weedon

B.App.Sc (Physiotherapy)

Olivia is a passionate paediatric physiotherapist who graduated from Bournemouth University (UK) in 2023 with a Bachelors of science in physiotherapy. Since qualifying, Olivia began her career in the UK’s national health service where she developed her knowledge in all core areas of physiotherapy including stroke/neurology, orthopaedics , respiratory and cardiac , musculoskeletal and of course paediatrics. 

This broad experience has given her a well rounded approach to understanding all the key areas within paediatric rehabilitation. 

She takes a caring, family-centred approach to therapy, working closely with both children and their parents to create individualised, engaging treatment plans. Her goal is to make therapy both effective and enjoyable, helping children build confidence in their movement while supporting families every step of the way. 

Towards the end of 2025 Olivia made the move to Sydney, where she has been developing her skills as a physiotherapist within the private sector.  

With a background as a short track speed skater, Olivia has a strong appreciation for movement, coordination and strength, which continues to influence her approach to physiotherapy. 

Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find her running to explore new places, or practicing what she preaches at the gym or Pilates. 

Sally Hodge

B.App.Sc (Physio) Grad.Dip (Manip.Physio)

Sally is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 20 years experience and a long-term member of the team at St Leonards Physiotherapy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) then returned to Sydney University to complete postgraduate qualifications in spinal manipulation and musculoskeletal therapy. Sally specialises in the treatment of sports injuries, back and neck pain. She treats anyone who has balance problems, and does 1 on 1 strengthening programs to keep people mobile and therefore able to stay at home. She is very fond of the elderly and enjoys working closely with them, and provides home visits for those less mobile.

Anne

With over 14 years of experience as a dedicated practice manager, Anne brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the team. Her background as a cardiothoracic intensive care nurse gives her a unique clinical insight that complements her administrative role.
 
Anne oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice, including financial management, administration, group classes, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She plays a key role in supporting the physiotherapists so they can focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
 
Known for her strong communication skills and problem-solving ability, Anne is committed to providing an exceptional experience for every client, whether in person or over the phone. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog Daisy, who has also become a much-loved visitor to the practice.
